Welcome to the seventh Pembroke Festival, organised for the community by the community. The aims of the Festival are to showcase local talent and for Pembroke to get together and celebrate! Forget the recession – here is a full and varied programme to suit most tastes and to entice you to come out and enjoy yourselves!

The theme this year is Wheels. So dress-up, decorate your wheels and roll along and join in the Whacky Wheels Procession on Thursday 2nd July either on a bike, roller skates, skateboard or in a wheelchair; pushing a pram, pushchair or shopping basket; driving a go-kart or scooter.

There will be some great bands playing in the marquee on the South Quay every day, exhibitions, competitions and activities for all ages. This year there are two exciting ticketed events on the Friday and Sunday evenings which will include Planet Abba and Pembrokeshire’s most popular band Johnny Action Finger. On Saturday 4th July there will be a firework display from the Castle ramparts. So please put the first weekend in July in your diaries and let’s celebrate!
